In Your Face
The touring exhibition "In Your Face" by Mario Testino first opened at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in March 2012. The 122 photos included span over a twenty-year period and consolidate Testino’s photographic language and creative vision.

The full range of Testino’s work is shown with no one style prevailing over another, and with particular emphasis placed on provocative contrasts and contradictions. Testino has sequenced the works positioning formal portraits with private snapshots, nudes with fashion, black and white with color. They are displayed on a ledge to emphasize these juxtapositions, and to reinforce the reaction that one image brings after the other.
Testino’s unique style and intuitive ability to capture moments and create emotional connections have made him one of the most well-known photographers in the world. "In Your Face" gathers works that combine key elements of contemporary culture, inviting visitors to enter an aesthetically beautiful world of glamour, sensuality and irreverence.
