In 2021, the Milanese gallery 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS showcased "Mario Testino: Unfiltered" an exhibition of over 50 artworks presented in two parts over five months.

“Shooting images continuously and for many years, it’s nice to sometimes stop and self-reflect, to examine that which others see and take from my photographs.” – Mario Testino.

Alongside some of his most iconic large format photographs, the gallery presented an exclusive and unpublished body of work, revealing a lesser-known, more spontaneous side of the artist, including works from Ciao (Taschen, 2020), a book dedicated to the artist’s love affair with Italy.
