DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES BY MARIO TESTINO

Just five months before her tragic death in August 1997, Mario Testino was commissioned to photograph Diana, Princess of Wales for Vanity Fair. Published to coincide with the opening of an exhibition at Kensington Palace in 2005, this book provides a look inside her last portrait session. "Diana, Princess of Wales" brings together around 70 of the most beautiful images of the late Princess in a state of relaxation and caused a worldwide sensation upon their release. Also included in the book is an interview with Testino written by Hamish Bowles about his recollections of the shoot and a foreword by Meredith Etherington-Smith, who played a mayor role in arranging the sitting in 1997.
