Published upon the unveiling of Mario Testino’s successful travelling exhibition "Mario Testino: Portraits" in 2002, this book brings together commercial work alongside studies of the stars from the worlds of fashion, cinema, royalty and music. From London to Hollywood, the book is an unprecedented overview of Testino’s career and explores how his photographs have influenced attitudes towards fashion, beauty and glamour. Testino’s relationship with his subjects is simply and succinctly summed up by Anna Wintour: “People love to be photographed by him”.
