UNDRESSED

This catalogue accompanied "Undressed", Mario Testino’s exhibition blurring the boundaries between fashion, eroticism and art, displayed at the Helmut Newton Foundation between June 2 – November 19 2017.

Published by Taschen, it features an exclusive conversation between Testino and long-time collaborator Carine Roitfeld. Also included is an essay from German psychiatrist, psychologist and neuroscientist Manfred Spitzer, who offers a neuro-scientific perspective on humanity’s visual perception of bodies and beauty. Featuring previously unseen photographs from his studio, as well as his archive, "Undressed" offers a metaphorical undressing of the man as well as his working practice.
